Hydraulic Projects Ltd has been manufacturing hydraulic steering components for over 20 years, supplying the leading autopilot manufacturers with hydraulic pumps, actuators and cylinders of the highest quality.
Hydraulic Projects Ltd's components were used in Aqua Quorum, the Open 50 yacht sailed by Pete Goss in the 1996/97 Vendée Globe non-stop singled handed round-the-world yacht race.

Hydraulic Steering Systems
Designed specifically for marine secondary steering applications. They come fitted with a range of three sizes of reversing pump and two sizes of constant running pumps.
Autopilot Steering Cylinders
MC autopilot steering cylinders are made from anodized aluminium with chrome plated stainless steel piston rods. Pre-set integral relief valves are fitted as standard.

Reversing Pumps
Tthe latest generation of quiet, efficient pumps available for four flow rates and 12 or 24 volt systems. They are used by leading autopilot manufacturers to steer vessels up to 18 metres.
Constant Running Pumps
For use in heavy-duty applications larger yachts or commercial craft these 12V or 24V constant running units use a heavy-duty 4 brush 325 watt motor.

Linear Actuators
This electro-hydraulic linear actuator combines all the elements of a hydraulic circuit in one compact unit which has been designed for ease of installation.

Cylinder Unloader Valve
A line mounted valve used to bypass the hydraulic steering cylinder so a boat may be steered manually. Available in 12V and 24 V systems.
Check valve
A pilot operated line-mounted check valve used to lock steering cylinders.
