Hydraulic Steering Systems
HS hydraulic steering systems are designed specifically for marine secondary steering applications. They come fitted with either reversing or constant running pumps in a range of sizes combined with two sizes of cylinder giving thrusts of up to 1080kg. A solenoid clutch is fitted that when disengaged enables mechanical steering to be used. Built-in relief valves protect the installation and there is a further option on the HS40+ cylinder for mounting a linear feedback transducer.
Systems consist of a compact cylinder which includes the clutch and relief valves, pump, reservoir and all hoses and fittings. They come pre-filled and bled ready for use and are supplied complete with fasteners for mounting the cylinder and pump, and a tiller bolt.

Linear Actuator
The ML40PLUS marine autopilot Electro Hydraulic Linear Actuator combines all the elements of a hydraulic circuit in one compact unit. It has been designed specifically for the marine auto-pilot market for use on sailboats and power craft with displacement or fast planing hulls.
Designed for ease of installation and servicing the unit is supplied with a quick release mounting and tiller bolt. An optional rudder reference/feedback unit can be mounted directly onto the actuator and integral relief valves protect the unit and its mountings from being overloaded. The unit can be mounted in any attitude and is ideal where space is limited as no separate pipework or reservoirs need to be fitted.
ML40PLUS is supplied pre-filled and ready to install.
