Second Generation Linear Actuator released!

 

Our best selling Marine Linear Actuator, the ML40 has been released in a new improved version, the ML40plus. Used by the worlds leading autopilot manufacturers the ML40 concept won the prestigeous UK design award for it's innovitive features.

The ML40plus builds on the original concept with greatly reduced back-drive and user-servicability.

Backdrive is the force required to move the actuator rod when steering manually. The graph below shows the improvement, measured at the rod, over the ML40 of 30% and more depending on the rate of movement. Manual steering forces also depend greatly on the general steering installation and size of wheel etc.

PC45's steer Tony Bullimore five times around the world!

International Yachtsman Tony Bullimore's catamaran 'Spirit of Antigua' (formerly 'Doha') has had a pair of Hydraulic Projects PC45 constant running pumps keeping him on course for over 10 years.

Tony says "....your equipment installed on the boat has done so much work over the
past 10 years, and it has never let me down, in the harshest conditions of
the Southern Ocean and many other parts of the world."
