Cycle To Work Day

Hy-Pro celebrated our healthy workforce last week, when eleven of our employees took up the Cycle To Work Day challenge.  The group were rewarded with a bacon baguette for lunch and a photograph for posterity!

Most of those taking part regularly cycle to work, with some travelling around 12 miles each way from Exeter to Dawlish.  This particular route takes them down a purpose built path along the beautiful Exe estuary.

Always ready to encourage health and respect for the environment, our management team introduced a the scheme some months ago.  This scheme has enabled employees to acquire new bycicles and related equipment at discount prices whilst spreading the cost over 12 months.  Our employees have benefited by being fitter and making savings on fuel while the Company has noticed more space in the car park!
