Our New 4 Position Regenerative Spool Section

We’ve recently released our new 4 position regenerative spool sections which have been designed primarily for skip loader applications.

What is this Product?

This is a special spool section that combines a standard double-acting cylinder spool with a regenerative function.

Whilst the spool section was designed specifically to work with skip loader applications, it can also be used with other applications such as hydraulic presses where a rapid retraction is required.

It is also available with a motor spool for use with over-centre valves. Note that the over- centre valve must be of a compatible type, please consult your supplier in this instance.

How Does it Work?

When in regeneration mode, oil flow returning from the rod side of the double acting cylinder is combined with the pump flow and directed to the base side which enables rapid rod extension.

The spool spring returns into neutral from all positions; fast extend, extend, neutral and retract.

Product Specification and Features

The valve sections body is made from high grade cast iron which has a great resistance to wear and corrosion and can withstand large loads.

The seals are made from a combination of Nitrile, Viton and PTFE. These offer exceptional weather and resistance to chemicals including oils, fuels and acids.

It has a temperature rating of -20°C to 65°C and is rated to 250 bar at 60 L/min

The section weight is just 2kg.
