Within our portfolio of Hydraulic Valves for specialist applications, our original HRV, the G3/8, was specifically designed to operate hose and cable reels, like those shown in the vehicle below from US Jetting, who supply high-pressure/low-flow jetting products across the world.
Often representing essential but high investment in equipment by this client’s own customers, being assured of top-class components from us is vital to their continuing success.
Our Original HRV boasted an already high-quality product specification, including a pressure compensating speed control with integrated relief valve and a four-position spool valve, the use of a spring-centred lever that can also be detented into a fourth position, allowing the reel to free wheel and the reel locking when in the neutral position.
Our improved HRV40 retains many/all of these features, using the same mounting points and cartridges. The knob lever and relief valves are also in the same location relevant to the mounting holes.
Our new design is further enhanced by the incorporation of a 16mm diameter spool that offers improved pressure drop, gives less drag on the freewheel and provides a more robust spool centering mechanism.
