Hy-Pro’ s Constant running power units, the PC30 and PC45, designed to operate a boat’s steering mechanism as part of a marine autopilot system, have always provided an ideal drive for large boats and heavier duty steering applications.
We are pleased to announce that we have two new additions to this highly successful range, the PC+10 and PC+15 fulfilling the need within our product portfolio for constant running power units for the smaller commercial and pleasure boat marketplace.

THE NEW PC+10 and PC+15
These additional pumps features and benefits include
- Precision made ground gears, driven by our ultra-quiet 12V DC or 24VDC 100W motor
- 1L/min or 1.5L/min nominal flow
- Compact design being 250mm in length
- Solenoid directional control valve for faster directional response
- Zero leakage check valves
- Integral Relief valve protecting the hydraulic components
- IP67 rating (IP65 solenoid connectors)
- Suitable for cylinders 150cc to 400cc
Designed by our in-house design team and manufactured at our factory premises in the UK, we can control the entire product development process, from concept through to manufacturing and ultimately sales.
In line with our high standards and with a minimum of moving parts, combined with top quality precision engineering, our constant running pumps will give many years of trouble-free service.
All our CR power units are primarily designed for use on boats with an existing hydraulic steering system. Alternatively, the entire range can also be used on vessels with mechanical steering in conjunction with a secondary steering ram and bypass valve.
