As a company we have seen considerable growth in the past few years. To ensure we can keep up with the increased demand and to give ourselves extra capacity in the future, whilst maintaining our continued high quality, we have a process of continual improvement.
One of our investments as part of this improvement, has been in a state-of-the-art Tschudin CUBE 350 centreless CNC grinding machine.
Designed for maximum efficiency in terms of space utilisation, minimal maintenance requirements and production up time, this compact three axis machine is almost as fast a changing a tyre in Formula 1.
With short set up times and increased production throughput speeds, the equipment provides the ability to ensure that our on-site machining section can supply our assembly areas with a top-quality product for the timely building of our customer orders.
A further attractive feature is the fact that the CUBE350 is also designed for machining small components with part diameters of less than 0.1 to 20mm and small batch sizes.
This investment consolidates our machining capabilities whilst also providing a leap forward in terms of our ability to programme. Using Tschudin's 'EASY' software package, we can now introduce new designs into the production facility with minimum impact on current production requirements.
